This was one of the first deviations I ever viewed on Deviantart, and, although I passed it by as a favorite, I've found myself coming back to it over and over.
It's a simple design, but that simplicity gives it a sort of innocent beauty. Of all the deviations I've used as desktop backgrounds, this is my favorite (turned 90 degrees). I don't know if you find it flattering or offensive to hear of your art used like that, but I figured I ought to let you know, since it would be illogical to comment on my feelings about this deviation and leave that out. At first I thought having colors besides amber spoiled its honeycomb-ness, but now I realize that they make it more inviting. I like the lens flares or whatever you call those points of light, but I have to say the criss-crossing light and dark lines sort of break up the smoothness in my eyes, and are sort of a flaw in that way.
I think that's all I have to say about this piece.
